Our Story

DC Gourmet was established in 2010. It started with a humble beginning in 2006 with a small stall selling Nasi Lemak. By 2007, we ventured into selling economically mixed vegetable rice, catering also to industrial workers as well as office workers’ takeaway lunchboxes. Following these increased orders for takeaways, more stalls were opened to meet the needs of a growing clientele.

We provide a good variety of fresh daily favorite dishes at very affordable and economical prices and see many regular customers returning. As orders increased with a fast-growing clientele, our small humble cooking areas at the stalls were not able to meet the demand. So, we see the needs and opened our first restaurant with a bigger and better-equipped kitchen in 2015, and also obtained a license to establish a catering arm.

With continuous business growth, we moved into a larger kitchen. Today, DC Gourmet not only provides daily meals to student care and childcare centres, we also cater lunches to various churches every weekend. Having won the supports and recognitions of many partners and customers, DC Gourmet also cater for many other events such as weddings and anniversaries, birthdays, home parties, corporate functions, and launches, etc.

At DC Gourmet, we value our customers and take extra effort to ensure that our customers receive best quality food and services. We offer a wide variety of creatively tasty menus including local favorites and international delights that customers could select from. We aimed to continue improving and providing better food and services to our customers, to be among the best in the catering business, retaining the trust of our customers.
